Be my friend on Brightkite… aka I have invites
October 21, 2008 – 09:03
Brightkite is an amazing social network with geo-tagged posts/photos/people. Although I found the site kind of useless through the browser and the mobile site just as lame (very annoying to email a photo to a site to post on the go). So you can assume I have been dying for a decent iPhone app. My prayers have been answered, the dev team @ Brightkite has developed an iPhone app and Apple released it into the wild last night. This application has received high marks in my book and blows any other related app out of the water....COUGH...loopt...COUGH.
I found something else cool that enhances the browser experience. There was a plug-in for Firefox that can guess your geo-loacation through you wi-fi signal and BrightKite harnessed that power to add a "Guess my location" feature to their site. Here's the story strait from their blog.
So if you're interested in using Brightkite, leave a comment. First five comments get an invite so be quick!
