Although I found the site kind of useless through the browser and the mobile site just as lame (very annoying to email a photo to a site to post on the go). So you can assume I have been dying for a decent iPhone app. My prayers have been answered, the dev team @ Brightkite has developed an iPhone app and Apple released it into the wild last night. This application has received high marks in my book and blows any other related app out of the water....COUGH...loopt...COUGH.

I found something else cool that enhances the browser experience. There was a plug-in for Firefox that can guess your geo-loacation through you wi-fi signal and BrightKite harnessed that power to add a "Guess my location" feature to their site. Here's the story strait from their blog.

So if you're interested in using Brightkite, leave a comment. First five comments get an invite so be quick!

So last night was SummerMash Boston party.....and what a party! I finally met the great Pete Cashmore and got him to top off a human pyramid. I also met a bunch of other cool people whom I have collected business cards from and the fellas from PermissionTV (my old job) were there serving up slices of information on the lovely PTV platform. All in all, a great networking event.

Check out the photo stream on Flickr and have a laugh at my expense. Thats what I get for deciding to hang out at the Yoono photo shoot area most of the night and whore myself out to the camera. And dont forget to vote up the photos I'm in on the Yoono Photo Contest page.

I'm a social network whore. I belong to tons of social networks, I peruse through social blogs like Mashable, and jump on the opportunity to join a new social network. So if you're like me, you're inbox is filled to the brim with social network emails and requests. Its quite mind boggling.

I thought I could get along by shutting off alerts for most of my networks but, I hate logging in to see if theres anything new being talked about or anyone new trying to connect to me. So I've decided to create several email accounts for the major networks I belong to and a bulk one for the minor ones. It keep my personal email free and clear of some social junk and it makes me feel a little more organized in my very very disorganized life.
