We were all routing for Best Of Boston. Sadly, The Lemonade Stand came up short but we did recieve other awards! Here's what we won:

We were all bummed to see we only got 3rd runner up but after the show plenty of people came to tell us that they felt the judges got it wrong. It's not about the awards, its all about making a film that people won. I mean, lots of great films never won any awards.

Anyway heres the other runners up and the winner of the Best of Boston:

2nd runner up: Sock Pox

1st runner up: High Noon, Oh Crap thats like 5 minutes from now

I forgot to mention here, that The Lemonade Stand is in the 48 Hour Film Project Best of Boston screening. That means we're going to win something!!!! Hopefully the "Best of Boston" title!

You should go to the screening and see all the other glorious films that qualified for the Best of Boston screening. In case your are horrible at searching for the correct time and place, it's at the Kendall Sq Cinema, Tuesday June 9th @ 7:30......GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

So Chris put together this quick tune in garage band and it inspired me to make this. Crazy? I think so. Anyways, we shot a bunch of green screen footage and some of it may suck because I'm lazy at keying and the lighting wasn't done properly. It makes me laugh. Hope it makes you laugh too.

We may even make this into a reoccurring web series thing. Depends on how well this is received.

Also this may be updated with different music and fixed footage.

The Lemonade Stand wins an Audience Award!

The Lemonade Stand was well received at the 48 Hour Film Project screening last Tuesday, was so well received that it won an audience award! It was really no shock, there were about 3 other films that stood out but our film glimmered in darkness that was that screening on Tuesday night. We put so much work into that film; the writing, the acting, the editing, the carrot juice... CHEERS to DGSAAFBS and thanks to everyone who voted! Now all that's left is the main awards that are voted on by the judges. I have a good feeling.....Best of Boston HERE WE COME!!!

One Friday night after work, Chris and I decided to stay late and film internet gold. Chris had purchased a song earlier that day and since I was on a streak of lib dubs with songs we decided to film us dubbing to.....Andrew WK's Party Hard And boy did we...

Once we finished we posted it up on youtube, vimeo, and facebook and let it stew for a week. Our entire office got a kick out of it. Chris soon decided that we should show Andrew WK and we contacted him on Myspace.Well guess what.....its on his myspace and his website. BANGING!

Snakes on a plane is AMAZING, of course the senerio is completely crazy and could never happen. That doesnt matter. Sam Jackson can make any movie great but the addition of Kenan Thompson it makes this movie amazing.

Let me give you a little background of how this all happens in a little over 30 words: Guy witnesses murder. Bad people try to kill guy. Sam Jackson saves guy. Wants guy to testify. Guy must fly to trial. Bad people fill a plane with snakes to kill guy.

Snakes came out of everything in the plane, they bit all places you would NOT want a snake to bite. I'm going to fizzle out for the rest of this blog entry, but trust me....go see it.
